Dancing to American Bandstand – 1958

This is a clip from a trove of 8mm home movies I inherited from my parents. This one is from 1958 and features my twin brother and me, along with our sister, dancing to American Bandstand on the television. I’m using these visual references for the illustrations I’m doing based on my father’s postcards to his parents.

Rancho Santa Ana Gardens

A digital drawing I did of Sandy and me standing in front of a turtle pond at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens in Claremont. We always have a great time there. The artwork of a local artist, Terry Givens, was on display in the giftshop and was probably what inspired me to do this drawing.
