Drawing Shakespeare - As You Like It
This video demonstrates how I approach draftsmanship. The drawing is a scene from Shakespeare’s As You Like It and one I previously completed digitally in Inkscape. I wanted to redraw it manually in charcoal on a large piece of paper — mostly to prove to myself that I can master larger drawings. With no training and no technique, I think I did a passable job. The music is “I Giorni” by Ludovico Einaudi.
